Palm Sunday
Upon His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the Lord Jesus was very well received, especially by the children who shouted "Hosanna to the Son of David!" A few days later, though, some of the people who witnessed Jesus's arrival were the same who shouted “Kill him! Let Barabbas go free!”, asking Herod to crucify Him, because they missed the point: they wanted an earthly, human king who would rescue them from their urgent needs. Those people did not long for the eternal King who, above all, could bestow upon them salvation, rescuing them from eternal condemnation and from themselves. The very same happens to us when we want to use the Lord Jesus as the mere means to meet our selfish needs, not resiliently enduring the trials we are faced with during our faith journey, which, instead, makes us mature followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Join us today in this powerful, eye-opening, and Spirit-inspired Palm Sunday message.
