Not seldom, we wonder why good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. Free will, the power God gave us to make choices, determines our decisions. Oftentimes, though, we make wrong decisions when we disobey Him. Gideon received the noble call from the Lord to deliver the Israelites from the hands of Midian. Although he was a faithful man of God, Gideon hesitated when hearing the Lord's voice, feeling unable to accept his mission. As much as we feel we are not cut out for something the Lord of hosts requires from us, we must remember that if He has brought us to any given scenario, He is going to bring us through it.
